This directory contains data related to homology between C. albicans
and other organisms.

The orthology subdirectory contains data pertaining to orthology
mappings among Candida species in CGD and between Candida 
species and S. cerevisiae. 

The best_hits subdirectory contains BLASTp-based mappings, which are made with lower-stringency requirements compared to the ortholog mappings.  If a protein lacks an ortholog in one of the other species, we search to see if there is a best-hit.

These best hits data are available in the same format as the files containing
the ortholog data. The ortholog files are available at
