This directory contains data related to homology between C. albicans
and other organisms.

The orthology subdirectory contains data pertaining to orthology
mappings between C. albicans and S. cerevisiae.  These mappings were
performed at CGD using InParanoid (http://inparanoid.cgb.ki.se/)
software.  This directory also contains ortholog mappings between
C. albicans and C. dubliniensis that were provided to CGD by John
Gamble and Matthew Berriman at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.

The best_hits subdirectory contains mappings between C. albicans and
S. cerevisiae, for C. albicans proteins that did not have an
S. cerevisiae ortholog that meets the strict criteria used to define
orthology.
